Spring Forward: One Less Hour, But More Daylight Ahead!

It’s that time again—this weekend, we spring forward! Yes, we lose an hour of sleep (boo!), but we gain extra daylight in the evening (yay!). At Rempel Builders, we know that even a simple time change can throw off the rhythm of a busy job site.
Here’s how to make the Monday after the time change a little smoother:
Go to bed early – We know, easier said than done. But trust us, hitting the pillow a bit sooner can help avoid the “Why am I so tired?” struggle.
Extra coffee (or two) – No judgment here. If there was ever a Monday to double up on caffeine, this is it.
Check your site lighting – With shifting daylight hours, make sure early morning and late-day work areas are well-lit. Safety first!
Double-check schedules – Your phone will update automatically, but make sure job site clocks, equipment, and meetings stay on track.
Sure, losing an hour isn’t ideal, but longer evenings mean more daylight for after-work activities (or just enjoying a bit of sunshine before calling it a day). So, set those clocks forward and get ready for brighter days ahead!
Reminder: Set your clocks ahead one hour before bed on Saturday!
